We do not have “high end” video equipment. However what we do have we are using it to it’s fullest potential and also the software we use for editing and have received rave reviews for our work. Our most current projects have been recorded with a Flip Video Camera. It’s very basic but when placed on a tripod to steady the shot the quality is more than acceptable for the following kind of projects;
- “Talking Head” – movie or book reviews – An Example
- Classroom instruction (an example of this coming soon)
- Product showcase (sometimes a still image is not enough – how can we showcase your product better?
- Recorded video podcasts
- Example of service work – i.e. construction, cooking and short tours
After recording video on one of these simple devices we will edit the footage in one of two video editing programs, iMovie or Final Cut Express. In the editing we will trim unneeded footage, adjust the color, add titles, lower-thirds (people names, etc. displayed for a short bit on the bottom of the screen)
Our current rates are as follows;
Pre-scripted Ready to go Talking Head sessions $200 per session (Secure our services by prepaying $1,900 for year in advance and saving more than 20% (can have multiple recordings within a 2 hour period) includes time and basic editing. The yearly rate includes 1 two hour session a month
Classroom/Seminar Recording - $500 per session (secure our services by prepaying $4,800 for a year – 1 session a month) includes time and basic editing.
Product Showcase – $200 per product. (Secure our services by prepaying $1,900 for year in advance and saving more than 20%) This is best used for special showcase items. We recommend one “special” a month. Including the product we recommend showing it’s use (where appropriate), title graphics, etc.
Service Showcase – $200 per session (Secure our services by prepaying $1,900 for year in advance and saving more than 20%)
